陽光、奶油 & 迷幻搖滾

無論何時聽都是如此生猛有力 - 1960 年代藍調搖滾團體 Cream 在 1968 年的單曲 "Sunshine of Your Love"，迷幻搖滾 (psychodelic rock) 作品之一，作詞 Pete Brown，作曲 Jack Bruce 與 Eric Clapton。收錄在 1967 年發行的專輯 "Disraeli Gears" 裡，這支歌的 guitar riff (反覆樂節) 是搖滾音樂史上有名的，電吉他 solo 也入選了 1998 年 Guitarist 雜誌選出的百大 solo 第 80 名。據聞這首歌是 Eric Clapton 與 Jack Bruce 於 1967 年在倫敦的 Saville 劇院看完 Jimi Hendrix 的表演啟發了靈感而寫下的。

依據維基百科，"Sunshine of Your Love" 大部份的歌詞是 Jack Bruce 與 Pete Brown 在一個夜晚熬夜寫下的，兩人腦力與才華激盪了一夜，以致不知東方之既白。就在那天濛濛亮之時，在太陽即將升起的一刻，Pete Brown 寫下了："It's getting near dawn. When lights close their tired eyes…"（"接近黎明之時，眩目的天光使他們疲累的雙眼閉上"）這樣千古流傳的歌詞。他們再將這道溫和的曙光與伊人的愛作了個連結，就變成了 "Sunshine of Your Love"，「妳愛裡的陽光」這樣的詩篇與頌歌。（後半段是我自行想像... XD）

2004 年 Jack Black 主演的電影「搖滾教室」(School of Rock) 使用了 Cream 的 "Sunshine of Your Love"。電影的劇情是說一個欠了一屁股債的失業搖滾樂手假冒其友人進入一所小學教書，還把音樂班的學生變成搖滾樂團的故事。
